Company-wide knowledge portal, which was modeled on Wikipedia.
On Prof. Gunther Dueck’s initiative and under his leadership, there originated a highly efficient business-internal knowledge database with more than 3700 articles and a community of 1000 authors in the course of one year. Hallo Welt! implemented the whole project technically. Besides, we accompanied the build-up of the community until rollout.
Our accomplishments: Installation and integration of the basic system, conception of basic content structure, specific add-ons and templates, design, build-up of an English edition, moderation and support.

Central internal knowledge and information portal
Themed “So the IHK knows, what it knows” an existing MediaWiki was expanded to a central knowledge and information platform.
The wiki of IHK Darmstadt is both intranet and knowledge portal: employees use it to collect and create all relevant information about processes, projects, products, services and also refer to topics and experts of the IHK.
Technologically, the emphasis was put on the improvement of search opportunities and of the user administration. Besides, a comfortable and effective WYSIWYG-editor was to be implemented.
Our accomplishments: cooperative development of master plan with regards to content, upgrading with HalloWiki Sunrise and integration of the basic system in the software environment of IHK, specific add-ons, instruction of editors and administrators, maintenance and support.

Wiki of city and region
The Franken-wiki is a public knowledge-collection about Franconia with emphasis at the Metropolis of Nuremberg. At this stage the platform can be counted to the 25 biggest city-wikis worldwide. For the Nürnberger Zeitung (NZ) the Franken-Wiki is an important part of their comprehensive crossmedia-strategy.
Hallo Welt! supports the NZ concerning technology and content for building a community. The existing MediaWiki was extended: The focus was on better user friendliness and administration.
Our accomplishments: Trainings for editors and administrators, restructuring of the arrangement of content, expanding MediaWiki with HalloWiki Sunrise, specific add-ons, maintainance and support.
